Leave a lasting legacy in Lake Geneva

Lake Geneva's parks – and obviously
the lake itself – attract a quarter million visitors a year. A
creative way to have a business or family stand out in terms of
community involvement and philanthropy is to permanently stamp a name
on recreation equipment in a new, 13,000 square foot learning
playground.
Never Say Never Playland, Inc. (NSN) is
in the process of building the region's first playground for children
of all abilities. One of the hallmarks of Lake Geneva is that it's
dotted with neighborhood recreation parks for use by all.
Unfortunately, not all are equipped for all. The well-maintained
Veterans Park hosts the most traffic with a wide variety of
facilities for team sports and other activities coordinated by the
active Geneva Lake Family YMCA. Veterans Park will be the home for
the innovative new playground, not just for kids with special needs,
but children of all abilities.
The project is expected to break ground
in 2019 on space in the park generously donated by the City of Lake
Geneva. Funding for the extensive, specialized equipment is coming
100 percent from fundraising by NSN. The park will feature components
such as; adaptive swings, an accessible merry-go-round, cochlear-
friendly slides, ramps instead of stairs, and most importantly, a
poured-in-place rubber foundation. A company wishing to put itself on
the forefront of recreation innovation in the region can put its name
on a piece of equipment. A complete list of the equipment and
sponsorship levels can be found at www.neversayneverplayland.com
and begin at under $1,000 for a one-time donation.
What's unique about the giving
opportunity is that there's also a Donors' Wall at the site, so the
company or family making the tax-deductible contribution will be
recognized on the equipment as well as the wall.
NSN founder, Dusti Ocampo, noted that,
“The playland will feature a woodland theme that will give kids an
imagination to play and know that anything is possible. We want all
kids and young adults having fun no matter what their ability is.”
Every sponsorship helps make having fun possible.
